These two books are part of a bigger series about Lily the elf. Content wise they are about Lily and her beloved Granny, and tell stories about the dilemmas of being a little elf dealing with the daily challenges of life. Luckily Granny is always there to support Lily as she works her way through each of these challenges.
These stories are ideal to be shared with for 4-6 year olds, but importantly they are also very suitable for beginning readers to read for themselves. Not only is the print large and easy to read, the vocabulary is also easily accessible with black and white illustrations that are supportive of the text. They will also appeal to such readers as they are constructed as beginning chapter books which is a format that young readers always aspire to reading.
